Rawalpindi : September 3 ,2024: Bangladesh made history by defeating Pakistan in a 2- test series here at Rawalpindi stadium. Bangladesh achieved its target of 185 runs in the second inning at the loss of 4 wickets. Litten Das , Bangladesh captain was declared as man of the match for securing heroic 138 runs in the first inning of the second test. Pakistani bowlers and batters disappointed Pakistani fans as they could not offer any resistance to Bangladesh in the test series.
Pakistan’s fielding remained below average in the series. Bangladeshi players took advantage of Pakistani players’ lethargic attitude . Pakistani players ‘s hilarious behaviour in fielding was even noticed by the empires. They were stunned over non-serious attitude of Pakistani players.
In and outside the dressing room, Pakistani players seemed divided and it was clearly visible from their level of play. Bangladesh has won the first ever serious from Pakistan in Pakistan and showed to the fans of that they unlike team Pakistan play as a team. Defeat in series from Bangladesh has left many questions for Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to answer. A glaring question which PCB needs to answer is who is responsible for grouping in team Pakistan?. Another question when is haunting PCB for long is who will handle team Pakistan and teach it to play like a team? Pakistani fans are dejected over team Pakistan’s performance against Bangladesh and want PCB to punish those players who are promoting groupinh in team Pakistan.
