Malik Riaz loses legal battle against NAB in properties auction case

NAB to go as per schedule to auction Bahria Town properties on August 7

Islamabad : Absconder Malik Riaz and his son –Ali Riaz Malik — have lost legal battle and now National Accountability Bureau ( NAB) is all set to auction precious 6 properties of Bahria Town on August 7, 2025.

All attached properties of Bahria Town in € 190 million fraud case will be auctioned at NAB Rawalpindi office situated in G -6 Islamabad.

NAB intended to auction Bahria Town ‘s properties attached with £ 190 million fraud case, but Malik Riaz tried to block the move by challenging NAB’s action in different courts. Bahria Town in its last effort moved the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to get stay order against NAB ‘s planned auction of its properties.

IHC rejected Bahria Town ‘s plea in this case on Monday. This development has paved way for NAB to go as per its plan for auction of Malik Riaz’s attached properties on August 7,2025. The attached properties included
Bahria Town Corporate Office II, Plot No. 7-D, Park Road, Phase II, Rawalpindi,

Bahria Town Corporate Office, Plot No. 7-E, Park Road, Phase II, Rawalpindi,
Rubbish Market & Lawn, near Bahria Garden City Golf Course, Islamabad,
Arena Cinema, Plot No. 984-Broad-A, Phase IV, Rawalpindi, Bahria Town International Academy, Jasmine Street & Silver Oaks Road, Zero Villas I, Rawalpindi, Safari Club, Plot No. 27, Safari Villas, Bahria Town, Rawalpindi,
The assets have been attached in connection with a recent plea bargain reached in the £190 million Al-Qadir Trust case.

Malik Riaz and his son -Ali Riaz- are wanted in multiple murder , land grabbing and money laundering case. Father ,son duo is in Dubai and the government of Pakistan is trying to get both of them back in Pakistan through Interpol.
