Makkah: The Pakistan Hajj Mission has awarded a special shield to Matbakh Mumtaz in recognition of its outstanding services in providing Pakistani pilgrims with high-quality, nutritious, and authentic Pakistani cuisine throughout the Hajj season.
During a special ceremony, Director General Hajj, Abdul Wahab Soomro, presented the shield to Chaudhry Naveed Gujjar, Managing Director of Matbakh Mumtaz. Speaking on the occasion, the DG Hajj praised the organization’s commitment to serving Pakistani pilgrims with meals of exceptional quality, describing its efforts as highly commendable. He also congratulated Chaudhry Naveed Gujjar and his entire team for their dedication and hard work.

Receiving the award, Chaudhry Naveed Gujjar expressed his gratitude and said that their mission was not merely to conduct business but to serve the Guests of Allah—the Hajj pilgrims—with sincerity and excellence. He noted that the entire team worked tirelessly, with dedication and a strong sense of responsibility, to deliver hygienic, high-quality meals prepared according to authentic Pakistani tastes, adding that it was a matter of great pride and satisfaction for them.
He further stated that, God willing, Matbakh Mumtaz will continue to improve the quality of its services and provide pilgrims with even better facilities and dining experiences in the future.
Chaudhry Naveed Gujjar also thanked the Pakistan Hajj Mission, particularly Director General Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro, for the honor, saying that the award reflects the collective efforts, commitment, and teamwork of the entire Matbakh Mumtaz staff.
