Rawalpindi : Nov 24 : Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf on Friday said Babar Azam is a number one player and is making the country famous as a player. On the second day of the training session for the tour of Australia, Mr Zaka visited the Rawalpindi Stadiu and met with test captain Shan Masood, fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, team director Muhammad Hafeez and chief selector Wahab Riaz . On the occasion, Mr Zaka praised the performance of Shaheen Shah Afridi and said that he can’t be forgotten for the country,
“Our support is with you, you are an important member of the team” , Mr Zaka said.
Talking to the media after the training session in Pindi, middle order batsman Saud Shakeel said that international matches are important for every player and one should try to perform well.
Chief selector Wahab Riaz met team manager Naveed Akram Cheema in Rawalpindi camp. Wahab Riaz met captain Shan Masood, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Hafeez also.
After attending the wedding of Imamul Haq, Babar Azam Sarfaraz Ahmed and Usman Qadir rejoined the camp Hasan Ali joined the camp. Off-spinner Sajid Khan, Samin Gul Muhammad Ali and Ali Shafiq also joined the camp.
