New York: The New York Times reported that Bill Gates, a philanthropist and co-founder of Microsoft, has reportedly donated $50 million to Future Forward, a nonprofit organization that supports Kamala Harris.
The organization supports the US vice president and is an essential external fund-raising outfit. Bill Gates has not publicly endorsed Harris for president, even though he made a sizable payment to a pro-Democratic organization.
According to the story, Bill Gates expressed his “concern” about Donald Trump winning the election. He expressed this during private phone conversations with his friends.
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Gates’ charitable organization, has voiced concerns about Trump’s chances of winning the presidency, according to the report. However, Gates has stated that he is open to working with either candidate.

Furthermore, the former CEO of Microsoft stressed his bipartisanship, saying, “I support candidates who demonstrate a clear commitment to improving health care, reducing poverty, and fighting climate change in the US and around the world.”
Bill Gates remarked, “I have a long history of working with leaders across the political spectrum, but this election is different, with unprecedented significance for Americans and the most vulnerable people globally.”
“I choose not to participate in large political donations, there are times it might feel tempting to do so, and there are other people who choose to do so, but I just don’t want to grab that gigantic megaphone,” Gates said in 2019 when discussing his thoughts on political donations.
