Islamabad : With soaring of mercy to a dangerous level , heat stroke related death toll in Pakistan has risen alarmingly . The hospitals data shows that around 1700 patients of heat strokes were admitted in hospitals in the last 24 hours. Karachi Commissioner , Hasan Naqvi , officially confirmed 10 heat related deaths in Karachi on Wednesday. Faisal Edhi , top man of Edhi Foundation which has Pakistan ‘s largest network for social welfare and emergency services , presented very gloomy picture of the hospitals due to alarming heat waves across Pakistan . He claimed that minimum 500 persons died in different hospitals due to killing heat waves in Pakistan in the last 26 days. Pakistan is literally boiling due to killing heat waves in these summer days. Pakistanis are braving 47 to 51 degree Celsius temperature these days. Pakistan ‘s upper region which used to be comparatively less hot in the summer season is also sizzling due to killing heat waves. Islamabad witnessed one of the most hot days on Wednesday . According to PDM , Islamabad had 46 degree Celsius temperature on Wednesday. Many parts of Pakistan like Jacobabad , Hyderabad and Sibbi are having hottest summer season these days. Karachi which usually remains less hot in summer season is no more less hot now. Karachi city is braving killing heat waves . Although , Pakistan ‘s Weather Department is predicting rains in next couple of days, most parts of Pakistan are likely to remain extremely hot till mid of July.
