DPO Tauqir Naeem shows commitment to make Khushab crime free district

We want to restore peace in Khushab at any cost . asserts Tauqir Naeem

KHUSHAB : Oct 1 : In the district of Khushab in Punjab, the crime rate was the lowest in the province, but over the past three to four months, the crime rate in Khushab has increased significantly. Incidents of theft, robbery, and dacoities were quite rare, but their numbers have now reached into the hundreds. To restore peace in Khushab, Dr. Usman Anwar, Inspector General of Punjab Police, appointed SSP Tauqir Muhammad Naeem as DPO (District Police Officer) of Khushab.

In his first meeting with officers, he emphasized that ending crime and ensuring justice without discrimination will be his top priority. Along with rewarding good performance, strict accountability for negligence and carelessness will also be enforced. It is due to their diligent working style that their popularity among the public has increased. Since his appointment, crime in Khushab has been rapidly brought under control, and internal departmental accountability is also ongoing.

SSP Tauqir Muhammad Naeem has taken tough action against corrupt elements within the department, which has improved the behavior of police officers towards the public to a considerable extent. Speaking to Rana Zahir, the President of the District Electronic Media Club and staff reporter NEWSMAN, DPO Khushab said that he will restore peace in Khushab, eliminate the culture of corruption in police stations, and make the district drug-free. His open-door policy and the delivery of justice with merit, along with a firm hand against criminals, are gaining his acceptance among the public.

In recent years, there have been political cases against political activists. Such challenges will be a test for DPO Khushab.”
