ISLAMABAD: An official announcement made by Cabinet Division on Saturday has opened- up a new Pandora box for the PTI government, besides raising a plathora of serious questions over Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ability and capacity to select and constitute his team to run the affairs of the state. The announcement of Cabinet Division gives a picture of assets of unelected members …special assistants and advisors..of PM team. The assets details have much for the people of Pakistan to ponder what kind of stuff Imran Khan has put in place to make this country a’ New Pakistan’. These details show 8 out of 15 advisors and special aßistants were dual nationals. Nadeem Babar ,special assistant on Petroleum, is a US national, Nadeem Afzal Chan ,special assistant to PM on paliamentry coordination, is a Canadian national, Zulfi Bukhari special assistant to PM on Overseas Pakistani and a close friend of PM, is a permanent UK national, Tania Adrous , special assistant to PM on digital Pakistan , is a national of Canada and Singapor , Moed Yousaf, advisor to PM on national security , is a
US green card holder . Shahbaz Gul a PM special assistants on political affairs is also dual national and has US nationality. The assets details also disclose how filthy rich these dual national advisors and special assistants were whom Imran Khan inducted in his team for bringing a change for uplifting of pro -poor Pakistanis. These filthy rich special assistants and Advisors to PM also have assets of .billions of rupees, agri land worth millions , companies shares and properties within and outside Pakistan. Although, there is no restriction on PM to appoint dual nationals as his advisors and special assistants, but the facts remain as to how an individual who is under oath to keep interest of UK, US or any other country could be loyal to Pakistan. One may wonder why Imran Khan is so much interested in inducting dual national as special assistants and advisors. The case of Moed Yousaf is of critical nature. He, as per Cabinet Division announcement, is a US green card holder and yet he was appointed special assistant by PM on national security. Can anyone believe in it?. Could a dual national be a special assistant on national security in any other country?. Similarly, zulfiqar Bukhari, a close friend of Imran Khan is holding office of advisor on Overseas Pakistanis and at the same time he is running many business in UK. Poor chap Nadeem Afzal Chan also could not hide his Canadian permanent visa this time. Though elder chan might have got this visa 15 years ago when he was in that country for some labour type work with his younger brother ..Waseem Afzal Chan.
Later on Saturday night, information minister Shibli Faraz had announced that all details of assets of advisors and special assistants have been uploaded on website of Cabinet Division on the direction of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
