ISLAMABAD: March 31, 2023. The government has extended the date for a week for sponsorship Hajj scheme 2023. According to a spokesperson of the ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs in Islamabad, the decision to extend the date for submission of applications for sponsorship Hajj scheme was taken on Friday and now the overseas Pakistanis can apply for Hajj 2023 under sponsorship scheme till April 7, 2023. Earlier, the last date for submission of application for Hajj 2023 under sponsorship scheme was March 31, 2023.
The spokesman of the Religious minister in his Whatsapp message said the extension in date for submission of applications for Hajj 2023 under sponsorship scheme has been made to address the problems being faced by overseas Pakistanis . He said overseas Pakistanis have been complaining of issues in transfer of funds from abroad and keeping in mind their issues the government on Friday decided to extend date for submission of Hajj applications under sponsorship scheme for a week. He maintained that now Pakistanis across the globe can apply for Hajj 2023 under sponsorship scheme till April 7, 2023.
