Incompetent , corrupt rulers bringing disrespect to masses in Pakistan : JI deputy Ameer Liaqat Baloch asserts

JI Deputy Ameer claims his party holds plan to turn Punjab into Pakistan's centre of unity. JI Punjab Ameer Dr Tariq Saleem foresees change in public behaviour . Takes public interest for change " Badal do Nizam".

Islamabad – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Deputy Ameer, Liaquat Baloch, has said that Punjab holds central importance in Pakistan’s political landscape, but the province has been deprived of its true rights due to the dominance of a few elite families, landlords, capitalists and vested interests supported by the establishment.

Addressing the Badal Do Nizam Workers’ Convention organized by Jamaat-e-Islami in Lala Musa, Liaquat Baloch said that nearly 120 million people of Punjab have been marginalized by incompetent rulers who, instead of serving the province, have brought disrepute to it. He emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami would act as the true spokesperson of the people of Punjab and take the lead in transforming the province into a center of national unity, development, love and brotherhood for all provinces.

He expressed confidence that public support for Jamaat-e-Islami in Punjab would help stabilize the country and steer it out of recurring crises. He further announced that a comprehensive plan of action would be devised for the next phase of the Badal Do Nizam movement, focusing on the abolition of what he termed the “black law” related to local government in Punjab, the establishment of a genuinely empowered local government system, and the transfer of real authority to the people.

Liaquat Baloch criticized Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stating that despite being in power at the federal and provincial levels, these parties have failed to introduce empowered local government systems in Islamabad and the provinces. He said that although these parties demand governance at all costs, they are unwilling to devolve power to the grassroots. He added that those who demand adherence to law and constitutional norms abroad must themselves respect the constitution, rule of law and an independent judiciary in Pakistan.

Speaking on the occasion, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab Dr. Tariq Saleem said that following the historic participation of millions of men and women from across the country in the Lahore Minar-e-Pakistan public gathering, the movement for systemic change has entered a new phase marked by renewed determination and courage. He urged party workers to actively convey the message of Badal Do Nizam in their neighborhoods and localities. Dr. Tariq Saleem said that Jamaat-e-Islami is not merely a political party but an ideological movement with a universal vision aimed at the establishment of a just and moral system. He criticized what he described as a ruling class that imposes itself on the country through bureaucracy and exploits the masses. This oppressive and exploitative system, he said, lies at the root of Pakistan’s problems and must be dismantled.

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami District Gujrat Rana Umar Siddique, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lala Musa Dr. Syed Haider Ali and other leaders also addressed the convention.
