Jeddah: March 24.2024 Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Overseas Community Saudi Arabia Sardar Waqas Inayat organized a grand Iftar dinner in honor of Azad Kashmir People’s Party President Chaudhry Yaseen and president of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists Afzal Butt.
In which a large number of Kashmiri community and leaders of Jeddah participated. Adviser to former Azad Kashmir President Sardar Inaitullah Arif, Allama Saeed-ul-Rashid Abbasi, PPP’s Taswer Chaudhry, National Solidarity Forum’s Riaz Bukhari, and Waqas Inait addressed the event. President PPP Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Yasin said that today is a very auspicious day. On this day, the Muslims of India under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah presented the agreement of a separate state for Muslims and as a result of the struggle of the Quaid, Pakistan existed on the planet , although the number of Muslims in India is more than the population of Pakistan, but it is a matter of a separate homeland where there is complete freedom versus the Muslims of India where they do not have religious freedom, their mosques are being demolished everywhere.
It is felt that they are not free, today Kashmiri Muslims are also facing the same situation where India is oppressing them for its nefarious purposes and ignoring the agreements of international organizations. Speaking at the Iftar dinner, Afzal Butt, head of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists, said in his address that Pakistanis living outside the country are more patriotic Pakistanis than Pakistanis living in Pakistan. He said that Pakistanis abroad need the attention of the government of Pakistan. Afzal Butt said that our recognition abroad is not regional but only Pakistani, so every step you take, every commendable initiative is only for the good name of Pakistan. Countries and people against Pakistan want to defame the country and prove it as a failed state, but inshallah the positive leadership of Pakistan and overseas Pakistanis will thwart his tactics. At the end of the ceremony, Azad Kashmir PPP President Chaudhry Yasin, PFUJ President Afzal Butt cut the Pakistan Day cake and sang together Dil Dil Pakistan Jaan Jaan Pakistan along with journalists and others
