Jeddah .. A joint ceremony was organized by the Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah at the Benazir Shaheed Auditorium of the Pakistan International School in Jeddah on the occasion of the Day of Thanksgiving and the Day of Takbir, in which a large number of parents of students and the Jeddah community participated. Addressing the ceremony, Consul General Khalid Majeed congratulated the entire Pakistani community on the glorious deeds of the Pakistan Armed Forces, the success of which made the enemy’s teeth bitter. He said that the Pakistani Armed Forces have thwarted the enemy’s evil intentions with courage and bravery, which is a source of pride for the entire nation. He said that overseas Pakistanis stand with their protectors and national unity and solidarity are indispensable for the development of the country. He also thanked friendly countries for their full support to Pakistan. He thanked the media for raising the morale of the people by providing factual news to the world. The President of the Kashmir Committee also addressed the ceremony, while young school children presented tableaux, which were well-received by the audience. A famous singer sang the national song. The audience expressed their joy by waving Pakistani flags. Renowned Pakistani singer Naeem Sindh warmed the enthusiasm of the participants through national songs and special videos, while Pakistani school students dressed in the uniform of the Pakistani Armed Forces presented a beautiful tableau, which was well-appreciated by the participants.
