Kazakhstan and Belarus PMs Depart After Attending SCO Summit
ISLAMABAD, October 16, 2024: The Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan, Oljas Bektenov, and Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, departed for their home countries after attending the 23rd session of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
The leaders were seen off at Islamabad Airport by Federal Minister for Investment, Privatization & Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan.
Speaking to the press, Minister Abdul Aleem Khan expressed enthusiasm about the prospects of strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.
He emphasized the significance of such high-level visits, saying they hold the potential for further regional cooperation and mutual benefits.
Both Prime Minister Bektenov and Prime Minister Golovchenko conveyed their gratitude to Pakistan for the warm hospitality they received during their visit.
They praised the high level of organization and coordination of the SCO meeting, noting that it was held in an exemplary manner.
The two leaders also reflected positively on their time in Pakistan, expressing appreciation for the pleasant stay and the valuable discussions held during the SCO session.
The visiting Prime Ministers left Islamabad with positive memories and hopes for continued collaboration, signaling a strong commitment to enhancing bilateral relations in the future.
