ISLAMABAD, December 3, 2024: The imprisoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan on Tuesday revealed that her brother still holds a “trump card” which he has chosen not to disclose at this time.
Speaking to reporters after a visit to Khan outside Adiala Jail, Aleema shared that Imran Khan had informed her he would not reveal this card yet.
She also mentioned that she had waited for six hours the previous day to meet her brother but was not allowed to do so.
Aleema Khan also dismissed rumors about her brother’s health, insisting that he is in good condition.

She explained that Imran Khan has been kept away from newspapers and television while in prison, so he has been relying on his lawyers for updates about the ongoing political developments, including the recent PTI protests in Islamabad.
Regarding the violent crackdown on PTI protesters in Islamabad, Aleema stated that Imran Khan was shocked by the news of the arrests and violence.
Aleema Khan said that her brother said that a First Information Report (FIR) be registered against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
She emphasized that the issue should be raised both at the national and international levels to highlight the brutality faced by the demonstrators.
Aleema Khan also criticized the leadership of the former ruling party, pointing out that they should have been present at the protest, especially when Bushra Bibi, Imran Khan’s wife, was leading the rally.

In addition to the ongoing political turmoil, Imran Khan has recently been implicated in seven new cases related to the violent protests and clashes between PTI supporters and law enforcement.
