Check for the *availability* of hundreds of batches manufactured by M/s GlaxoSmith Kline Pakistan (Pvt) Limited Karachi of Amoxil Forte Suspension 250 mg and Amoxil Forte Suspension 125 mg . DRAP ‘s alert was issued on August 5,2025 . It directed all the pharmacists , distributors to recall these batches of M)s GlaxoSmith Kline Pakistan (Pvt) Limited and immediately return to concerned distributors with intimation to this office.
DRAP ‘s circular issued to all the medicine outlets of Islamabad by madam Amber Drug Inspector is an alarming warning as it could be harmful for the patients .
DRAP did a good job in this case. Its official on duty found that M/s GlaxoSmith Kline Pakistan (Pvt) Limited ‘s hundreds of batches of Amoxil Forte Suspension were substandard and hence could be dangerous for patients . DRAP officer ‘s timely action for recalling of M/s GlaxoSmith Kline Pakistan (Pvt) Limited ‘s Amoxil Forte Suspension would definitely save lives of the people of Pakistan.
