RAWALPINDI: March 10,2023: Wow what a match it was today between victorious Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 8 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium .
Peshawar Zalmi might have no idea at the end of its inning that it’s opponent , Multan Sultans , will re- write the history of PSL 8 by achieving its target of 243 runs in 20 over.
Friday’s contest between the two teams was unique one by all means .
Peshawar Zalmi had done a great job by securing 242 scores which was a winning total, but Multan Sultans never took it as a difficult task .
Babar Azam and Saim’s 75 and 53 runs respectively did take the total of Peshawar Zalmi to a winning total, but it was yet not enough to grab the match from Multan Sultans.
Rossouw of Multan Sultans was a difference between the two sides . He made an individual score of 121 runs of 53 balls. He was first supported by Khushal Khan and then Anwar Ali to make a big total of 243 achievable.
Anwar Ali played a tricky game and bagged a good score of 242 runs.
After winning a total of 243 runs, Multan Sultans jumped to third position on the board.
