Islamabad : The spokesperson of the Foreign Office of Pakistan has said that there will be no change in the deadline for the repatriation of Afghan refugees. The issue of the attack on the Jafar Express has been raised during Sadiq Khan’s visit to Afghanistan.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said in a weekly briefing that negotiations with Afghanistan are an ongoing process. Sadiq Khan’s visit to Afghanistan was a high-level visit, in which the issue of the Jafar Express with Afghanistan was raised. All issues, including the construction to be built on the Torkham border, were raised during the visit.
The Foreign Office Spokesperson said that the sanctions imposed by the US on Pakistani commercial companies are unilateral and biased, and these sanctions have been imposed without evidence.
He said that dossiers regarding the involvement of the Indian government in terrorism in Pakistan have been submitted to the United Nations.
The spokesperson welcomed the recent ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine and expressed hope that the ceasefire will be permanent. Pakistan has good relations with both countries and we have always given priority to dialogue.
He said that the bill presented in the US is known, this bill is a personal effort of one individual, this bill does not reflect the bilateral relations between Pakistan and the US, we hope that the US Congress will take steps for good relations between the two countries.
