Islamabad : Pakistan Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir has said that terrorists and their facilitators will be defeated together with the nation, the agents of foreign masters who are involved in terrorism are aware of them and whatever the so-called friendly enemies do, they will be defeated in front of the Pak Army with the cooperation of the nation.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir visited Balochistan, where he was given a comprehensive briefing on the security situation. Senior military and intelligence officials also attended the briefing.
According to the Pakistan Army spokesperson, the Army Chief, Governor and Chief Minister Balochistan attended the funeral prayers of the martyred security personnel and visited the CMH to visit the injured, where General Asim Munir visited the injured military personnel.
It may be recalled that security forces killed 23 terrorists during operations in the Mangochar area of Kalat district of Balochistan, while 18 personnel of the forces were also martyred in the retaliatory action.
The ISPR said that the Pakistan Army Chief appreciated the role of the forces and security agencies against terrorism and the unwavering determination of the security personnel for the defense of the country.
Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir said that we will defeat terrorists and their facilitators together with the nation, and will take necessary action to eliminate the enemies whenever and wherever necessary.
The Army Chief said that the tools of foreign masters who are involved in terrorism are aware of them, these elements are playing the other side behind the scenes by adopting double standards of hypocrisy, however, to defend the motherland and the people, we will definitely track down the terrorists and bring them to an end.
General Asim Munir added that no matter what the enemies who pretend to be friends do, they will be defeated in front of the Pakistan Army with the cooperation of the nation.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the terrorist attack and paid tribute to the martyrs for taking timely action against the Khawarij.
It should be noted that during the last 24 hours, security forces killed 23 terrorists in an operation in the Mangochar area of Kalat district of Balochistan on the night of February 1,18 security forces personnel were also martyred during the operation.
According to the ISPR, terrorists tried to block a road in the Mangochar area of Kalat, on which the security forces immediately launched an operation.
Upon receiving information about the incident, security forces and law enforcement agencies were immediately mobilized, who successfully thwarted the terrorists’ nefarious designs and killed 12 terrorists while ensuring the safety of the local population.
According to the ISPR, 18 brave sons of the soil made eternal sacrifices while fighting bravely and embraced martyrdom during the operation.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that in the context of the operation in the Mangochar area of Kalat, a clearance operation was conducted in Harnai, in which 11 more terrorists were killed.
