Rawalpindi : August 24,2024 : Bangladesh are in a strong position against Pakistan in Rawalpindi and they are looking for their first win in all the Test matches played.
Bangladesh need 9 wickets on the last day while Pakistan look for a draw. Meanwhile, Pakistan won 12 matches while one test was drawn.
In the Rawalpindi test, Shan Masood is facing the challenge of maintaining the glory of the country and the nation. Pakistan have to maintain their unbeaten record in the Test series against Bangladesh.
Pakistan have played 13 Tests against Bangladesh out of which they have won 12 and drawn one. Pakistan is expected to maintain its unbeaten record against Bangladesh. Most cricket experts believe that Pakistan will prefer to save their match. Pakistan is currently ranked sixth in the ICC World Test Championship. He has played two series in the championship, against Sri Lanka he won by 2 nil and against Australia he had to lose by 3 nil.

Earlier, on the fourth day of the first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Rawalpindi, Bangladesh team was bowled out for 565 runs in the first innings, Pakistan scored 23 runs for the loss of one wicket in the second innings. Saeem Ayub, who made a half-century in the first innings, was the guest of only one run, Abdullah Shafiq scored 12 runs and captain Shan Masood scored 9 runs at the wicket.
Thanks to the responsible batting of Mushfiqur Rahim, Shadman Islam and other middle order batsmen, the visiting team managed to score 565 runs, thus they got a lead of 117 runs over Pakistan.
The Pakistani team lost their first innings by 6 wickets but it was declared on 448 runs. Mushfiqur Rahim scored the 11th century of his career on behalf of Bangladesh. He scored 191 runs and became a victim of Muhammad Ali. Shadab Islam could not complete his century with only 7 runs missing. Apart from this, Mehdi Hasan Raza 77, Litan Das 56, Mominul Haque 50, Sharaf Salam 22 were able to score among the other players of Bangladesh.
On behalf of the Pakistan team, Naseem Shah 3, Muhammad Ali, Shaheen Afridi, Khurram Shahzad could get 2, 2 wickets, one wicket went to Saeem Ayub.
On the fourth day of the Rawalpindi Test, Bangladesh started their first incomplete innings with 316 for 5. Mushfiqur Rahim was at the wicket with 55 and Latin Das 52, Latin Das was dismissed after adding just 4 runs to his previous day’s score, he was shown the way to the pavilion by Naseem Shah. Mushfiqur Rahim continued his scoring streak and scored his 11th Test century, his first against Pakistan. He is joined by Mehdi Hasan at the crease as Bangladesh are 420 for 6 and need 28 more runs to reduce their first innings deficit against Pakistan. It should be noted that thanks to the centuries of Saud Shakeel and Muhammad Rizwan, Pakistan declared the first innings 448 runs with 6 out.
