JEDDAH : The members of the Pakistan Investors Forum ( PIF) has unanimously nominated Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood for the post of President for a two-year term.
In a PIF meeting held here , all the members expressed full confidence in his leadership and said that the forum would play a more active role under his experienced leadership. In one of their meetings, the senior members of the Investors Forum reviewed the previous performance of the forum and decided that Chaudhry Shafqat should be appointed as the president of the forum for the next two years based on his performance.
The members proposed the name of another renowned investor, Chaudhry Abdul Khaliq Lak, for the general secretary, which was approved by all the members. On this occasion, Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood said that he would work hard to further promote Pak-Saudi relations through the platform of the forum, create new investment opportunities and bring investors of both countries closer. He expected that like in previous years, the forum would continue to cooperate with the Ambassador of Pakistan and the Consulate so that the efforts of the Investors Forum in Pak-Saudi relations would get more strength. He said that young investors are also developing and a sub-forum will also be formed for them. He asked all the members of the Investors Forum to register as many members as possible as soon as possible. It should be noted that Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood has received several awards in recognition of his social and charitable services, including Farzand Pakistan and Pakhan Pakistan.
