Jeddah ( Saudi Arabia) : The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in Saudi Arabia organized a dignified ceremony to commemorate the 97th birth anniversary of the leader of democracy, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
The event was graced by the presence of Senator Sehar Kamran as the chief guest, while the President of PPP Saudi Arabia, Chaudhry Tasawar Hussain, presided over the gathering. Party workers enthusiastically cut the birthday cake amid resounding chants of “Nara-e-Bhutto.”
The ceremony saw a large turnout of PPP leaders, workers, and representatives of other political parties. Key speakers included Chaudhry Tasawar Hussain, Malik Javed Hussain, Adeel Siddiqui, Chaudhry Zulfikar, Sardar Ashfaq Ahmed Khan, Akram Gujar, Aftab Ali Turabi, and Asad Akram. They paid glowing tributes to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, highlighting his invaluable contributions to making Pakistan a nuclear power and an invincible state.
Chief guest Senator Sehar Kamran emphasized that after Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Liaquat Ali Khan, Bhutto Shaheed was the only leader who taught Pakistanis to live with dignity and sacrificed his life for the nation. She added that Bhutto Shaheed’s vision and ideology continue to inspire his followers, who consider him alive in spirit.
The ceremony concluded with prayers for the elevation of ranks of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, and other martyrs, along with a tribute to their sacrifices for the nation.
