ISLAMABAD: Jan 4, 2023: Finance minister, Ishaq Dar, has rejected the white paper on the government’s performance citing it as a part of a smear propaganda campaign of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).
In response to the white paper on Pakistan’s economic situation, the federal Finance minister said on Wednesday that PTI intentionally distorted the facts of the national economy and misguided the people by presenting a totally incorrect picture of the national economy.
Mr. Dar said all the figures quoted in PTI white paper were fudged and tailored by the political party to make political gain.
PTI issued a white paper on the government’s performance the other day. The PTI White paper claimed that the government was responsible for the national economic meltdown. It also painted a rosy picture of the national economy under PTI rule.
