LAHORE : Dec 23,2022: Within minutes from the denotification of Chaudhary Pervez Elahi, as chief minister of Punjab, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) had consultation on the new development . After the consultation , both parties to the issue decided to move the court to nullify the Governor’s order dated December 22, 2022.
In an emergent meeting Chaudhary Pervez Elahi , speaker Punjab assembly, Subtain Khan, and Raja Bushat held consultations with the legal team.
The meeting decided that PTI and PMLQ legal team will move the Lahore High Court (LHC) today against denotification of Chaudhary Pervez Elahi as chief minister Punjab.
