,ISLAMABAD : Dec 29,2022:. Ex prime minister , Imran Khan’s former wife Reham Khan who recently married to a young man in US on Thursday said her decision to marry Imran Khan turned into a blinder and her kids (three -one boy and two girls ) paid huge price for it.
Reham Khan married to Imran Khan in 2016 and her marriage with cricketer turned politician ended up the same year .
Since break -up of marriage , Reham Khan is blaming Imran Khan for breakdown of her marriage .
Imran Khan married to Bushra Bibi soon after divorcing Reham Khan. Only a few in Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) know why Imran Khan divorced Reham Khan.
In a candid TV show , Reham Khan spoke her mind out on break up with Imran Khan. She said she took a decision to marry Imran Khan after due course of discussion and deliberations, but it did not work..She said Imran Khan had no issue with her kids as he had far and few interactions with her kids .
Reham Khan said now she has married to Malik Bilal Baig who is a Pakistani American . she met him in a gathering in the US in 2021. She said her husband is a professional and works in an multi national company. Reham Khan added that her husband takes care of her. Reham Khan said in response to a question that she hardly care about those who were critical to her new marriage .’ I never give any importance to those who indulge in criticism against me for a Sharia act of having nikah with a person “.
Reham Khan added that those who were criticising her new marriage have no positive approach for anything.
She said her husband cares for her obligations and would.never ask her to restrict those obligations like working for child protection and human rights . Reham Khan said she would continue to travel to Pakistan to fulfil social obligations .
Reham Khan denied that she has any interest in joining Pakistan’,s politics . She said political parties in Pakistan do not have basic spirit of democracy.
