RIYADH, October 16, 2024: Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah (Riyadh Al-Jannah) in Al-Masjid an-Nabawi has welcomed over 10 million worshippers this year, with daily visitor numbers reaching as high as 48,000.
The General Authority for the Affairs of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah reported that guidance was provided in 11 languages to assist visitors.
As of 2024, the total number of worshippers includes 5.58 million men and 4.72 million women. The average waiting time to enter Al-Rawdah was approximately 20 minutes, with multilingual support enhancing the experience for visitors.
These initiatives highlight the Kingdom’s commitment to improving services for worshippers at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. Spanning 330 square meters, Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah accommodates up to 800 people per hour, providing each visitor with around 10 minutes for prayer.
Entry to Al-Rawdah follows a structured four-step process: confirmation of appointments via the Nusuk and Tawakkalna applications, scanning a QR code with electronic devices, a brief waiting period, and then access.
In cooperation with security and administrative agencies, the Authority has implemented significant measures to streamline the prayer and visitation process, ensuring a smooth experience for all worshippers and visitors.
