Riyadh: The Saudi Music Commission, one of 11 sector specific commissions under the Ministry of Culture, is set to host the first-ever Riyadh Music Week in partnership with MDLBeast and the Saudi Research and Media Group (SRMG).
Riyadh Music Week is a landmark initiative, which will run from December 5th to 14th, 2024, across multiple venues in Riyadh.
Riyadh Music Week will highlight the creative and commercial progression of the music sector in the Kingdom and foster dialogue with international stakeholders on music policy and development.
Riyadh Music Week will include the Global Music Makers Summit, a new event which will bring together leaders and global policy makers from the music sectors across the globe.

The week will also highlight the exciting traditional music community through the activation of small venues across the city with live performances showcasing the diversity of local Saudi talent.
The calendar will also include the Music Cities Convention and Awards, marking the first time this prestigious global event is held in the Middle East.
The Music Cities Convention is one of the biggest international conferences focusing on the topics of music cities, music policy, and music tourism. This milestone solidifies Riyadh’s position as a key global destination for music and arts.
Throughout the Riyadh Music Week events there will also be a variety of panel sessions, seminars, and workshops led by industry experts, covering the latest developments in the global music scene.
The event unites some of the key music moments in the Riyadh calendar including XP Music Futures, Sound Storm and the inaugural Billboard Arabia Music Awards.
