Rawalpindi: According to Pakistan Army’s Public Relations Department, ISPR, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir visited Karachi.
The army chief was briefed on the operational preparations and training issues of the Pakistan Army. Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir also inaugurated the Investa Indus IT Park.
According to ISPR, Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah and Amaydeen participated in the opening ceremony. The IT Park will provide quality training to the youth in this sector. The participants of the event appreciated the role of SIFC for positive economic indicators. The Army Chief appreciated the efforts of the federal and provincial governments for all the initiatives.
According to ISPR, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir said that those who tried to create frustration in the society have been defeated by collective efforts, the aim of such projects is to provide a favorable environment for the development of the IT industry.
Army Chief also interacted with the business community of Karachi, the Army Chief appreciated the cooperation of the business community and businessmen in the economic development of the country. Emphasized the importance of IT domain for upliftment and economic development.
