Bangalore (India) : Pakistan scored 305 runs in 45 overs all out while chasing a big total of 367 runs set by Australia. Earlier , Pakistan won the toss and put Australia to bat first. Australia put a target of 368 runs for Pakistan. It lost 9 wickets. Australian openers –M Marsh and D Warner made more than flying start for 50 overs game against Pakistan. Both Australian openers made a show of blastic batting and both scored centuries .
All the way from the very first over of the inning both Australian openers played extremely hard hitting game . D. Warner made 163 runs off 124 balls and M. Marsh made 121 runs off 108 balls. Australia lost its first wicket when its score was 259 runs . Shaheen Shah Afridi got 5 wickets for 50 runs which helped Pakistan to restrict Australia at 367 runs. H. Rauf got 3 wickets for 83 runs.
Pakistani openers , A Shafiq and Imamul Haq gave a steady stand and contributed 134 runs. At this stage Imamul Haq got out when his individual score was ,70 runs. After Imamul Haq , A Shafiq also got out when his individual was 63 runs. After Imamul Haq ‘s departure , Babar Azam cams to bat but got out at his individual score of 18 runs. Rizwan got out at 46 . Iftikhar made some glorious stroke which made Australian players bit upset but he got out on an LBW appeal . He scored 34 runs. After dismissal of Iftikhar , Pakistani batters started to throw away their wickets . Finally, team Pakistan got out at total score of 305 runs. Pakistan’s poor captaincy and bad planning cost it the match against Australia.
