ISLAMABAD : Sept 7 :: The Finance ministry on Thursday clarified that a notification circulating in the social media and claiming banning 5000 currency notes from September 30 was fake.
Caretaker Information minister , Murtaza Solangi , also tweeted well in time that notification circulating in the social and print media regarding banning 5000 currency notes was fake . A notification was sent to the media persons from some unknown IDs on Thursday which said the Finance ministry has notified ban on 5000 currency notes from September 30.
Those who issued a fake notification to create fuss in public and banking sector had made the notification very close to the actual notifications . The fake notification was made so cleverly that in the first look it appeared original.
