SYDNEY, November 7, 2024: Following Pakistan’s narrow defeat in their opening match, fast bowler Naseem Shah said that the team’s commitment to learning from their mistakes and improving ahead of their next fixture.
Talking to the media, Shah acknowledged areas where Pakistan could improve, particularly with the bat. He noted that the team had already discussed these areas internally and was determined to bounce back stronger in the upcoming match.

On the Melbourne pitch, which has been known to favor fast bowlers, Shah praised Australia’s bowling attack while also acknowledging the challenges posed by the surface.
He explained that the length deliveries were less effective, with the short ball proving to be the better option.
Despite these conditions, Shah expressed confidence in Pakistan’s own bowling unit, stating that they were in good form and capable of adjusting to the conditions.

In terms of his own physical condition, Shah reassured that his fitness was excellent, although he acknowledged that cramps can occasionally occur but do not take long to recover from.
