Pakistan’s batting line collapses again , puts Bangladesh in driving seat for 2nd test

Lethargic Shaan 11 may bring more desperation for Pakistani cricket fans

Rawalpindi : August 31, 2024 : In the second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh, the national batting line once again faltered and the whole team collapsed for 274 runs, Saeem Ayub 58, Shan Masood 57, Salman Agha 54 runs were prominent.

On the first day of the second test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh, the toss of the match could not be done due to rain, on the second day Bangladesh captain Najamul Hasan Shanto won the toss and decided to bowl.

On behalf of Pakistan, Saeem Ayub and Abdullah Shafiq opened the innings, on the sixth ball of the first over of the match, fast bowler Tasin Ahmed sent Abdullah Shafiq back to the pavilion for zero.

Captain Shan Masood and Saeem Ayub completed their half-centuries, they were dismissed after scoring 57 and 58 runs respectively, former captain Babar Azam failed again, and he was dismissed after scoring 31 runs.

On behalf of Bangladesh, Mehdi Hussain dismissed 5 players, Tasin Ahmed dismissed 3 players, while Naheed Rana and Shakib Al Hasan got one wicket each.

Pakistan made two changes in the team, Shaheen Shah Afridi was replaced by Abrar Ahmed and Naseem Shah was replaced by Mir Hamza.

A change has been made in Bangladesh cricket team, fast bowler Tasin Ahmed has been included in the team in place of Sharaf Islam.

On August 25, Bangladesh made history by defeating Pakistan for the first time in long-running cricket in the Rawalpindi Test.

12 players were announced for the Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh starting on August 29, in which fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi was not included, but before the match, fast bowler Naseem Shah was also not part of the playing eleven.
