PMJF delegation meets newly appointed Pakistani consul general in Jeddah

Jeddah: A delegation of the Pak Media Journalists Forum (PMJF) paid an introductory visit to the newly appointed Consul General of Pakistan in Jeddah, Syed Mustafa Rabbani. The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, during which matters of mutual interest, issues faced by the Pakistani community, and consular services were discussed in detail.

Speaking on the occasion, Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani said that resolving the problems of the Pakistani community residing in Saudi Arabia is his top priority, and that the doors of the Consulate will remain open at all times. He highlighted the strong, brotherly, and historic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, stressing the need to further strengthen these ties through collective efforts. He also appreciated the positive and constructive role of the media.

The Consul General further informed the delegation that the new building of the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah has been completed and that relocation will take place soon. He said the new facility will overcome resource constraints and operate under a modern digital system, which will significantly improve consular services for the Pakistani community.

PMJF Chairman Chaudhry Noor-ul-Hassan Gujar welcomed the Consul General on his new assignment and expressed best wishes, while appreciating his vision and community-friendly policies. PMJF President Fahad Rafiq Khokhar thanked the Consul General and said that the Forum will continue to highlight issues faced by the Pakistani community and project a positive image of Pakistan.

The meeting was attended by Senior Vice President Hassan Butt, Joint Secretary Atif Tanoli, Imtiaz Qureshi, Muhammad Kashif, and other office-bearers and members. The participants assured full cooperation with the Consul General and termed the meeting a positive step towards stronger coordination and future collaboration.
