ISLAMABAD : October 31, 2022: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on said issued a warning saying “ Cyber crimes can result in punitive actions” and therefore it asks the patents to keep a vigilant eye on the online activities of their kids .
PTA also said its providing a software to the parents to help them monitor on the online activities of the kids.
Pakistan is facing a serious problem of cyber crimes and in majority of the cases the parents remain unaware of the on-line activities of their kids. In a sizeable percentage, the kids were found involved in illegal and immoral activities online but parents got the information when the activities of the kids brought them trouble and in many cases the police or some other departments actions.
